Prepless porcelain veneers are similar to no prep porcelain veneers in that they do not require major shaving to the teeth. Prepless means that they require the slightest bit of contouring, shaping, or buffing of certain teeth prior to getting the veneers. For example, in this situation, the upper left canine was sticking out, so we polished it back to prevent the final veneer from sticking out. Many smile makeover cases could be a combination of no prep and prepless porcelain veneers to achieve the goal smile.
